When Molly and Elliott Johnson relocated in 2010, they wanted to make sure they found a community with an excellent school district. They found that in Anacortes. Now, they have three athletic boys, but it’s not just sports that these parents want to support.
“Not everyone wants to chase a ball around,” says Molly. But, if they can find another extracurricular group that helps them grow into the person they might become, it’s so important for their mental health to support that.
“I think having spots for everybody is important,” agrees Elliott. He and Molly want to make sure that the district continues to offer the same amazing programs to students.
