Ashley and Chris Byer have roots that run deep in our community. Their children are the fourth generation of Anacortes students making their way through the district!
With Ashley’s work through Safe Kids doing car seat education for families, and Chris’s Anacortes Professional Firefighters, they are all about safety at home, at school, and in their community. “The technology upgrades would have a great effect on student safety,” Chris said.
Amy commented, “That’s something that we’re really passionate about, and we’re really glad that the school district is on board with the same types of priorities.” She added that she appreciates that the school board is so budget-conscious. The money collected here stays here in our town and is spent on our district, and that makes a big difference for the Byers.
